One of the names involved is mobile marketing pioneer Russell Buckley, who discussed the Springboard programme in our video interview last month. Buckley – co-founder of AdMob, which sold for $750m in 2009 – is an angel investor and will be mentoring successful applicants along with mobile entrepreneurs including Harry Dewhirst, co-founder of Amobee, which sold for $321m, and Ben Barokas, co-founder of Admeld, which sold for $450m.
