Devicescape has unveiled announced the latest version of its software, Devicescape Easy Wi-Fi, as well as three new market-specific solutions – Easy Wi-Fi for Handsets, Easy Wi-Fi for PCs and Easy Wi-Fi for Devices – that device manufacturers can integrated into their products. Devicescape says that Easy Wi-Fi enables OEMs to drive down development costs, increase time to market and leverage award-winning software for their end-user designs.
Easy Wi-Fi for Handsets is a complete wi-fi solution that is easy to use and compatible with any operator network across all operator markets. It also offers flexible configuration for automatic network access, so a handset can work with a specific operator and roaming partner or be unlocked for access to multiple operators. Easy Wi-Fi for Handsets also provides a connection manager framework for client and service updates.
Easy Wi-Fi for PCs is a wi-fi solution that provides robust security and is compatible with all operator networks. The solution can be integrated with the PC OEM connection manager and offers out-of-the-box access to hundreds of thousands of free hotspots. The solution can be configured to support single or multiple operators by the manufacturer and offers an optional web-based control panel for users, as well as enabling operators to provision service.   
Easy Wi-Fi for Devices provides manufacturers with robust security, automatic login capabilities and a small footprint. With Devicescape, manufacturers can expand their market and device appeal with one client that supports sales to all markets and geographies as well as dramatically simplify the user experience.  Easy Wi-Fi for Devices also offers an optional web-based control panel for users that can be re-branded and hosted at the service providers Web site.
All three solutions are available now. Devicescape Easy Wi-Fi is available on most chips sets and works with most operating systems.
