Three Hong Kong Launches O2 Priority-Style Loyalty App

Three Hong Kong 3Delight AppThree Hong Kong and Hutchinson Telecommunications Hong Kong Holdings Limited (HTHKH) have launched an O2 Priority-style loyalty promotion in the shape of the 3Delight app.

3Delight offers buy-one-get-one-free deals, covering lifestyle choices such as entertainment, leisure and travel, at up to 250 local and overseas merchants – including Qi House of Sichuan, Bounce indoor playground, L’Occitane Facial and Thailand’s Banyan Tree Hotel.

The free trial version of the app allows Three home broadband and Three home telephone subscribers offers at 40 merchants – it will also be available to non-Three customers from 12 December. The service can be enjoyed for free until 30 December 2017.

Interestingly, unlike O2 Priority, the premium version of the app comes at a price. It is available for HK$188 (£19) for Three customers and $388 for non-Three customers. This version will allow access to the full list of 250 merchants.

Chief operating officer at HTHKH Jennifer Tan said: “Market competition in telecoms has transcended basic services such as voice and data, so we have extended our score to deliver lifestyle apps to customers who want to enjoy great deals. Launch of 3Delight helps achieve our ‘3S’ goal in helping customers to enjoy a superior service, save more and share more.”
