Three launches football-themed campaign on sports channels, digital, social and VOD

UK mobile network Three has launched its latest ad campaign, aimed specifically at football fans. Through its sponsorship of Chelsea FC, the ad aims to capture the essence of what it is like to be a football fan and player – all told through the mobile phone and footage of football moments big and small, sourced from real fans and players alike.

All fan content featured in the ad was sourced through Seen.it, a platform that enables fans to film and submit their own content. When they visited the platform for this project they were greeted by an exclusively filmed welcome video filmed by Chelsea and USA player, Christian Pulisic. Chelsea launched the project for the first game of the season and received almost 300 submissions from Chelsea fans all over the world. The selected footage was then mixed with phone-shot footage of Chelsea platers Mason Mount, Reece James and N’Golo Kanté.


The 30-second ad was created by Three’s creative agency, Wonderhood Studios and in association with the production company, Outsider. The ad is running across Sky Sports Football, Sky Sports, BT Sports, ITV, Channel 4, Soccer Saturday and during international and premiership league fixtures for the next six weeks. It will also run on digital, social and VOD (Video on Demand) platforms.
