Tigo Brings World Cup to Subscribers Mobiles in Latin America

Millicom has acquired media rights to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil which will enable it to deliver live coverage to mobile devices in seven Latin American countries through its Tigo brand.
Tigo subscribers in Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador, Paraguay and Bolivia will be able to access all 64 matches on their mobile devices, with the addition of live statistics and multi-angle views.
Tigo will launch a dedicated Android and iOS app which will also feature dedicated news, schedules and other exclusive material.
