Tomorrows webinar, Making Sense of Mobile Payments, has moved forward an hour, from 4pm to 3pm, in order to accommodate speaker commitments. We hope this doesnt prevent anyone regsitered for the webinar from joining us live at the new time, but if it does, rest assured, everyone who registers for the webinar will receive a link to a recording of the entire session afterwards.

The webinar will offer an overview of the many recent developments and launches in the mobile money space, including Barclaycard/Orange Quick Tap; Barclays’ PingIt mobile money-sending application; and RBS and Nat Wests GetCash service, to name but a few.

After the overview, we will move to a panel discussion, including Russell Buckley, a partner in Ballpark Ventures; Oisin Lunny, senior market development manager at OpenMarket; and Rob Thurner, lead trainer at the Mobile Training Academy. The panel discussion will be moderated by Mobile Marketing editor, David Murphy. The panel will examine these and other developments in the mobile payments space, in an attempt to cut through the hype and examine which mobile payment initiatives have the legs to succeed.
