Dilithium Networks, which supplies converged video solutions, has revealed that Indosat, the second largest operator in Indonesia, has chosen the DTG multimedia gateway for deployment of advanced mobile video services. This marks the solutions 100th deployment.
The DTG multimedia gateway family enables a wide range of converged video value added services such as live TV, video portals, video surveillance, video blogging, video push, and video ringback tones. The DTG product family is also used as a combined IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem) video gateway, and more specifically as a MGCF/IMS-GW (Media Gateway Control Function and IMS media gateway).
Indosat has launched innovative services including video mail, video portal, Live TV, video dating, citizen reporting, based on our multimedia gateway, and we are pleased to support its rollout across the subscriber base, says Dilithium SVP of Service Provider Business Unit, Mitch Lewis. Our multimedia gateways enable service providers to strategically expand their network and roll out new video services for years to come.
Dilithium specialises in high-quality multimedia delivery over mobile and broadband networks, with a comprehensive array of converged video solutions and applications.
