The Grand Prix Award for the best of the best was voted for via SMS by close to 200 industry guests attending the Awards dinner. This award went to Peugeot and Marvellous for the 207 campaign. The award was presented to Peugeots Kristian Cholmondeley and Jon Carney and the team from the Marvellous by Vodafone Global Director of Brand and Customer Experience, David Wheldon, who said afterwards:
The winners last year were truly outstanding, but there were a lot of entrants that were mobile tests or examples of bits of budget being thrown into mobile. This year, it has moved up several gears. The judges came away enthused and inspired about what is now being done in the mobile space. I would congratulate the clients and agencies who are leading the way.
