Topman has launched a digitalised personal shopping service in partnership with Google+ which aims to give consumers access to a bespoke online shopping experience.
The service enables customers to pre-book appointments through Google Hangout, requesting specific styles or trends they are interested. The personal shopping team then creates an experience tailored to the individual, engaging them in a one-to-one video chat session with a Topman Personal Shopper.
The chat gives customers access to fashion and styling advice tailored to their needs, and gives them the option of purchasing items directly through their hangout session.
“To be able to open up our Personal Shopping service to all of our customers all over the UK through shoppable Google+ Hangouts is incredibly exciting,” said Jason Griffiths, marketing director for Topman. “Through a few simple clicks you will be able to book and experience a one-on-one online appointment with one of our expert Personal Shoppers no matter where you are. To be the first fashion brand to offer this service further demonstrates Topmans credentials as being at the forefront of all things innovation in the fashion world.”
“We are excited to see how a pioneering brand like Topman is innovating their Personal Shopping experience with Google+ Hangouts,” said Marvin Chow, marketing director of Google+. “Allowing customers all over the world to connect with their brand, get real time fashion advice and even buy the latest trends from their customised online session is a tremendous addition to the brain experience.”
