Topshop will be streaming catwalk shows live from London Fashion Week on its iOS app. Meanwhile, QR codes printed in store windows on the tags of NEWGEN t-shirts, and in the Topshop newspaper, will enable users to access a film specially created for Topshop by Nick Knight, as well as well as behind-the-scenes videos and a make up tutorial.
The app, which launched in November, includes a barcode scanner which, presumably, Topshop are intending customers to use to scan the QR codes. The app is also fully transactional, adding 300 new products available every week, according to the retailer.
