Topshop has revealed that it is streaming the catwalk shows live from the Topshop Show Space at London Fashion Week via its iPhone app, which launched in December.
The fashion retailer is also offering exclusive Fashion Week content in the app. QR codes printed in store windows, on the tags of NEWGEN designer T-shirts and featured in the Topshop newspaper that is distributed during the week will unlock exclusive content, including a film specially created for Topshop by Nick Knight and starring Karlie Kloss; behind-the-scenes videos; and a make-up tutorial.
The Topshop app is fully transactional, and the entire product catalogue, with 300 new products available each week. The app enables customers to scan product barcodes in store, shop the womenswear collections, read customer reviews, share products with friends, and add favourite pieces to a personalised Notebook. There’s also a store locator, and a GPS stock-checker to locate items in other stores.
