Employment listings site Totaljobs.com has unveiled a new app for iOS and Android aimed at giving jobseekers more flexibility when it comes to finding employment, making it faster and easier than ever before to find the right job.
The app launch follows the company seeing a 50 per cent increase in mobile traffic to its website, and has already been downloaded 20,000 times, registered engagement from users three times higher than the website.
The app enables users to apply for jobs and send CVs to prospective employers via cloud-based services including DropBox, Google Drive and OneDrive, generating quicker responses from employers and giving jobseekers more flexibility.
The app also enables users to create customised job notifications, informing them of suitable roles within an hour of them going live on the website, as well as enabling users to share job listings through social media and locate workplaces through an in-app map functionality.
“Its never been easier for busy jobseekers to find the perfect role whilst on the move,” said Andy Weight, group director of mobile at Totaljobs.com. “Our new Totaljobs.com app combines cloud-based technology to make it simple for candidates to apply for roles with their CV through the app, or share the latest job opportunities with friends and family through social media.
“The significant growth in mobile traffic to the Totaljobs.com website in the last 12 months is a clear indication of the demand for job searching on the go. The notifications feature alerts users within one hour of a great opportunity being advertised, helping the jobseeker stay one step ahead on the quest for a dream job.”
