ZTE has launched Touch and Share, an NFC technology that enables users to share data by automating Bluetooth or wi-fi connectivity between devices in close proximity. The service negates the need for passwords or device identifcation, by triggering content sharing when devices are touched together.
“ZTE Touch and Share is a combination of NFC, Bluetooth and wi-fi,” says Kan Yulun, ZTEs vice president and CTO of the handset division. “Users will enjoy the benefits of connecting quickly and easily – sharing contact information, images, video or even an internet connection, all by simply touching two Touch and Share-enabled devices together.”
ZTE Touch and Share incorporates service discovery protocol, connection manager and application service protocol automating device pairing processes.
