Transformers 3 gets Rich-Media Ad

Mobile marketing agency BaM! Interactive Marketing and mobile ad network InMobi have launched a rich-media campaign for Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon

The campaign, which runs for Paramount Pictures in Germany where BaM! is based, and is optimsed for different handsets, according to InMobi. 

The ad displays a puzzle for users, which asks them to put Bumblebee (a robot character from the movie) together. If the user is successful, they enter a draw to win two free tickets to see the film. The ad uses touchscreen interaction on smartphone handsets, and does not use Flash.

InMobi says that the ad has led to a “significant increase in dwell time on the mobile film site, thus creating real added value for movie fans as well as Paramount Pictures Germany.”
