Sense Internet, the new media and software development agency, has
developed a free GPS-based iPhone application that allows users to find
and book the nearest Travelodge or affiliated hotel room. The company
says it believes this type of app is a UK first, and follows close
liaison between Sense, Apple and Travelodge.
The iBooker can be downloaded to the iPhone from iTunes, and shows the
user where the nearest available Travelodge or affiliated hotel room
is, with the price. A simple three-step booking procedure secures the
room.
It's fast, neat and convenient, and the idea for it came out of our
constant innovation programme, says Sense Internet Managing Director,
Aidan Cook. We are always thinking of ways to help our clients and
this innovation is just one of the many we have devised. We're
especially chuffed because the application looks like a UK first.
