Tuborg Has Fun with Moblin Campaign

[img_assist|nid=8997|title=|desc=|link=popup|align=left|width=100|height=150]Mobile marketing firm Moblin has announced the results of a mobile advertising campaign for beer brand Tuborg in Israel.
The campaign goals were to raise awareness to the Tuborg brand and to increase sales over the summer, based around the concept of ‘Tuborg – The fun starts here’.

Moblin designed and executed a mobile media campaign based on HTML 5 technology, targeting male users of touchscreen devices aged 18 and over. Users who clicked on the ad were taken to a landing page revealing a beer bottle that enabled users to interact with the ad, encouraging them to touch the screen in order to open the beer and watch it empty. They were then taken to the brand’s Facebook page so that they could “Like” the brand.

The campaign ran on- and off-deck and generated a clickthrough rate of over 2 per cent. Over 20,000 people entered the landing page and “opened” the beer, and thousands of these “Liked” the brand on Facebook.
