Mobile business solutions company inVue has released inHand, an office suite for mobile phones that the company says transforms any mobile phone into a Blackberry-like device, offering real time access to email, documents, contacts, tasks and diary. It offers the same functionality, with the added benefit of file management, but without the need of any additional hardware or software, says inVue.
Included with every purchase of inHand is the inVue office suite, a wireless, multi-user replacement for Outlook on Microsoft Exchange, which offers complete back-office functionality to users. inVue manages emails and online documents, shared dairies, CRM, sales leads and much more. inVue, with inHand, provides a two-in-one office solution, with complete access to live data from any mobile phone or any Internet connection, and without the need of synchronisation.
The market has now recognised the increasing needs of mobility and flexibility of the modern business, and new applications have been released to offer email on the mobile phone. But email services offered by the networks are limited in functionality, argues inVue, and are more suitable for the consumer rather than the business user. Until now, it says, BlackBerry has been the only application to offer the whole spectrum of functionality, but at a price and a complexity way above the means of the average small business.
inHand, the company says, offers a new approach, designed by, and for, the smaller business. BlackBerry-like functionality without the costs and the technical complexity of the BlackBerry application, an end-to-end solution providing both mobile and internet access, at an all-inclusive price of 9 per user per month, with no hidden costs, and support and training included as part of the package.
