Scandinavian multiscreen video company Aspiro has partnered with TV 2 in Denmark to launch a Video on Demand (VOD) app for iOS. Through the app, the TV station will make its catalogue of programmes available to users.
“We love our new apps, because it allows end users to view all our valuable content on the iPad and iPhone,” says Magnus Rask Detlif, head of on demand, apps and second-screen technology for TV 2 Danmark. “We believe that the Aspiro hybrid model will enable us to continually add new features and enrich the second-screen experience for end users.” 
The service is built on Aspiros suite of hybrid applications, incorporated the native SDK as well as HTML5, and support studio-approved Widevine DRM.
