Tweakker Aims to Make Things Easy

Mobile start-up Tweakker has announced the launch of its service, which aims to help the estimated 1 billion mobile users who are faced with the chore of re-configuring their mobile Internet connectivity settings on a new or replacement mobile phone to be able to surf the mobile Internet each year.
Tweakker delivers free 3G, GPRS and WAP settings and mobile bookmarks automatically to over 2,000 different types of phones in 65 countries on more than 400 mobile operator networks, and says that coverage is growing every day.
Tweakker's service is free. Mobile users just need to visit the Tweakker website and set up a personal web page containing all their mobile settings. Theres a wizard that helps define the settings when the user enters their make and model of mobile phone.  When the user switches to a new phone or new operator, they simply go to their secure, personal Tweakker page, download Internet settings and synchronize previously selected bookmarks such as Google, Facebook or Twitter to their new phone.
Tweakker is the brainchild of Tue Schandorff, an ex-Country Manager for MSN and now Tweakker CEO. He says: “Tweakkers vision is to become every mobile user's ombudsman the singular, trusted place where mobile users can seek and get free help and video guides on how to set up mobile Internet, independent of operator network and mobile phone model.”
