Txtlocal Wins Internet Business Award

Mobile marketing and communications company Txtlocal has won an Internet Business Award for its online system that allows businesses to communicate with customers and staff via SMS.

Txtlocals technology allows businesses to grow their customer data and intelligence and to communicate targeted messages directly to customers handsets. Its services won the new Mobile Telecommunications award at the Internet Business Awards. This is the first time mobile has been separated from fixed telecoms in the awards listings, to reflect the growth in the market.

The judges commended Txtlocal on its website, which they say gives business customers instant access to a full range of services, supported by bullet points and phrases. According to the judges: “Unlike its competitors, Txtlocal can enable any size of business to use B2B text message marketing, quickly, easily and at low cost.”

Darren Daws, MD at Txtlocal, says: “It is fantastic to see an upward trend in businesses realising the advantages of investing in mobile campaigns, and we are proud that Txtlocal has been recognised as leaders in our field … Unlike traditional methods such as direct mail or email, the mobile phone is the one possession that continually stays with a person, so what better way to communicate with an audience, and ensure your message is delivered and received.”
