txtNation has entered the Belgian market, providing mobile billing services to all three mobile operators in the country – Proximus, Mobistar, and Base.
txtNation will initially be providing billing via premium SMS and WAP billing, with direct operator billing set to follow in late 2013.
“We are very excited to be entering the Belgian market in a direct capacity,” said txtNation COO Ashley Cross. “We have been involved in discussions and approvals with the Belgian networks over the last couple of years. This move follows our focused ramp up strategy for our direct aggregation and connectivity, of which has already included expansion into all of the Nordic regions, as well as several other key markets.” 
Belgium has an impressive mobile penetration rate of 115 per cent.
