txtNation Adds Support for Mobile Payments in the Nordics

Mobile messaging firm txtnation has announced its support for mobile payments and SMS shortcode billing in the Nordics, starting in Denmark and Sweden, with Norway and Finland due to follow later in the year. txtnation notes that it is one of the first mobile aggregators to offers these services in the region.
The support includes local language assistance for customers, including fast-track customer help online, via the conmpany’s dedicated support platform, txtNation SD. In Denmark, the support will comply with the regulator, Rammeaftalen and across Sweden with the Morgan Code of Conduct. 
“Mobile payments in Scandinavia are blossoming, and in accordance with keeping up with regulations for premium rate services, we have decided to go one stage further put a physical presence in these markets to handle support,” says Michael Whelan, director of mobile solutions at txtNation.
