Propeller Mobile has launched Event Engine, a platform for organisers looking to create for their event or exhibition. The platform can be used to create iOS, Android and mobile web apps, and will see its debut with an app for Birminghams Specialist Media Show next week.
Created apps can work as an interactive show guide, using push messaging to update visitors, and can be linked with social networks to see which contacts are attending which sessions. 
“Event Engine has been developed to help organisers not just before and during an event – but afterwards as well,” says Propeller Mobile chief executive Martin Loat. “Thanks to all the statistical data and user-generated content within the app, organisers can see exactly what has proved popular and what is less so, which is extremely valuable when considering future events.”
