Urban Airship Lands $25m Investment

Push messaging company Urban Airship has secured $25m (£16m) in funding.

The funding was led by August Capital, with its co-founder John Johnston joining the board of directors, as well as existing investors Foundry Group, Intel Capital, True Ventures and Verizon. August Capital.

The investment brings the total amount raised by Urban Airship to $46.6m.
