Yesterday, Mobile Marketing ran a webinar in partnership with Urban Airship, looking at mobile wallets, specifically, at how brands are using them; consumer attitudes towards them, and the part they can play in loyalty and couponing programmes.
The webinar made a compelling case for considering a mobile wallet programme, explaining how it can be used to send notifications and offers to consumers, even if you don’t have a native app. It also considered the ease and speed of deployment, and the different ways in which passes can be issued, from email and app, to text and social channels, with a number of case studies to show how mobile wallets are being deployed in the real world. It also made it clear that there is much more to mobile wallet than making payments.
