US airline JetBlue teams up with the NFLs New York Jets for all-mobile ticket option

New York JetsUS low-cost airline JetBlue has teamed up with National Football League (NFL) franchise the New York Jets to offer Jets fans a 100 per cent mobile pass for the 2017 season.

With the arrival of the Jet Boarding Pass, fans are able to attend every 2017 preseason and regular season home game, and can sit in a different seat on each occasion. The Pass makes the Jets the first NFL team to offer fans a season-long mobile subscription.

“We are always looking for new ways for our fans to experience game day, and we also pay very close attention to trends in the industry and in the market,” said Neil Glat, New York Jets President.  “As consumer preferences are shifting towards mobile transactions, we wanted to provide Jets fans with a unique and convenient way to attend Jets games, and we think the Boarding Pass addresses that.”

The Boarding Pass, which leverages mobile technology from Experience, is available through the Jets’ Android and iOS apps for a single payment of $725 or payment plan of $145 per month.

Boarding Pass holders are eligible for Jet Rewards, a program that gives fans the chance to earn and redeem points for autographed memorabilia, collectibles, and experiences. In addition, holders will be offered special opportunities and perks from JetBlue.
