Flytxt has announced the appointment of Dr. Vinod V Vasudevan as Group CEO. He succeeds Tim Williams, who will take on the role of Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales. In this new role, Williams will drive the company's sales and build strategic business relationships worldwide.
Dr. Vasudevan has 20 years experience in the IT and telecoms industries, with senior management experience in Asia-Pacific, Europe, the US and India. He joins Flytxt from Reliance Communications, where he was Senior Vice President and Head of Integrated Services. Prior to his time at Reliance, he held executive roles in companies including Newstakes Inc, KRDL and NTT.

Having sold its agency business to Buongiorno, Flytxt now develops and sells its mobile marketing platform, Neon. The companys main development centre is in India, and it also has offices in the UK and Germany.
