Vdopia Unwraps Chocolate, its Mobile Video Programmatic Marketplace

vdopiaMobile video advertising firm Vdopia has launched a global programmatic platform for mobile video advertising called Chocolate.

Built from the ground up exclusively for mobile video advertising, it is designed for brand marketers and demand partners looking for a marketplace platform that offers mobile video inventory at significant scale and with complete transparency.

At launch, Chocolate has a potential audience reach of more than 150m unique users in the US alone, and takes advantage of Vdopias proprietary .VDO technology, which enables publishers and advertisers to seamlessly run video-enabled ads on the mobile web and in apps without the need for Flash or plug-ins.

“With Chocolate, were providing inventory for more than 10,000 mobile apps and sites, the industrys best third-party integrations and a combined reach of more than 150m unique users,” says Saurabh Bhatia, CEO of Vdopia. “Mobile video ad spending in the US is estimated to grow by 322 per cent in the next four years.

“In addition to shifts in TV dollars to digital, Chocolate is rightly positioned to capitalise on macro trends including moves in programmatic and the emergence of mobile native advertising.”

Initially launched in the US, Chocolate will soon be rolled out across the Europe and Asia-Pacific markets to expand and support Vdopias customer base in those areas.
