Mobile marketing and advertising firm Velti is to open an office in Istanbul, Turkey. 

The company says its new development centre in the city will bring the full capabilities of Veltis mGage platform closer to the companys rapidly-expanding customer base across the Middle East, and is set to grow further its relationship with Avea, a leading operator in Turkey and business partner of Velti since 2009.

The company has been operatiing in Turkey since 2009, through its partnership with Turkish technology company Gantek. Velti says that by opening a dedicated support hub in the region, it will be able to meet needs among regional mobile operators and brands alike to raise awareness, acquire new customers, strengthen brand loyalty, and drive revenues.
