Chicago-based mobile marketing company Vibes has acquired Lumata’s US-based operations, including its American clients and its staff in San Francisco and Seattle.
Lumata still has global operations in France, Spain, Russia, Italy and India, as well as its head office in London. A spokesperson confirmed that the company’s operations outside of the US will remain unchanged, saying: “this strategic deal will ensure the business is in the best possible position to capitalise on future growth opportunities.”
Vibes has a mobile customer relationship management platform Catapult, which enables brands to deploy and manage a range of mobile marketing solutions in one. It already counts Verizon, Gap and the Chicago Bulls among its customers.
Co-founder and CEO, Jack Philbin, is currently chairman of MMA North America’s regional board.
