Videogame Marketplace Jiggster Launches on Android

Jiggster, a marketplace for trading, selling and buying used videogames, has launched its Android app.
The app suggests deals based on users chosen gaming genres, consoles and locations. If the price isnt right, they can then haggle via chat functionality.
Global brand agency BBH (Bartle Bogle Hegarty) incubated Jiggster within its innovation venture unit ZAG and invested £150,000 of seed funding into the company, which Jiggster is hoping to support with an crowdfunding investment round on CrowdCube.
“The UK gaming industry is undergoing a transformation from a retail and hardware perspective, resulting in a great opportunity for new global brands to emerge,” BBH global COO Neil Munn. “With our help as a global communications and marketing agency and Jiggster’s unique solution that makes bartering games fun and instantly gratifying, we believe Jiggster can establish itself at the forefront of this transformation.”
Since it first went live in beta a few weeks ago, Jiggster has attracted 2,900 active users, with around 1,300 deals suggested through the app.
