Vodafone Global Enterprise has signed an agreement with medical equipment manufacturer Boston Scientific, to develop mHealth monitoring solutions. Powered by M2M technology from Vodafone, the solutions will provide doctors with real-time information about patients cardiac health and vital signs, remotely.

The system is intended to reduce pressure on hospital outpatient and inpatient services, and increase the speed with which doctors and consultants can respond to early signs of deterioration in patients cardiac condition.
