Vodafone launches campaign to support small businesses through social media

Vodafone has launched a campaign to help boost small businesses through social media marketing. The ‘Shout Out for Small Businesses’ campaign is inviting small businesses to share stories of how they have taken bold steps during the pandemic for a chance to win a social media marketing boost from Vodafone.

The mobile network provider will select 10 businesses to receive a dedicated social media marketing campaign on Facebook and Instagram. The campaign will be created in partnership with Vodafone’s digital marketing teams and feature on Vodafone’s own social media channels.

Businesses will also benefit from a digital business strategy session with an adviser from V-Hub by Vodafone, the SME-focused resource hub launched by the telecoms giant last year.

“We’re always looking at new ways we can support small businesses. What’s become very clear during this pandemic is that all businesses, no matter the size, need an online presence,” said Anne Sheehan, Business Director at Vodafone UK. “That’s why we’re helping businesses to develop the skills to get online, and using our own online presence and experience to give them a boost.”

To enter, businesses have to visit Vodafone’s V-Hub and share their story of how they have adapted over the past year.

Entries will be judged by a panel including Enterprise Nation Founder and CEO Emma Jones CBE, former Dragons’ Den investor and entrepreneur Piers Linney, and Vodafone’s Head of Small Business Andrew Stevens.
