The Vyouz Network is launching its eco-friendly vSkips app, wich enables users to give unwanted items to others. The app, the company says, hopes to simplify and speed up the recycling and reusing processes for consumers, helping to dramatically cut the amount of items sent to landfill in the UK.
“With the vSkips app, we have simplified the process of donating unwanted items to a good home so people can start 2012 more generously and greener than ever,” says Len Willis, managing director of The Vyouz Network. “The interest in the vSkips website since its initial launch has been fantastic but we are committed to making everything we do as intuitive and as simple as possible, so an app was the next logical – but obviously a time- and resource-consuming – step.”
The vSkips website has attracted over 36,000 registered members.
