Warbler Launches Automated Mobile Marketing Platform for SMEs

Warbler smart campaignsStart-up Warbler has launched its mobile marketing platform of the same name. The platform was created to empower smaller brands and retailers with powerful mobile marketing and loyalty tools that have to date been out of their reach.

The platform uses a prescriptive analytics engine, designed to guide marketers towards the most efficient route to growing, rewarding and monetizing their customer base. It then chirps marketing campaign suggestions to the marketers’ mobile device for approval and delivery.

For example, a campaign generated for a retailer might read, “Chirp! You currently have 43 customers within 300 yards of the store. Invite them in!” while a restaurant owner might receive a suggestion such as: “Chirp! You have 4 spare tables tonight! Ask customers to spread the word about tonight’s Prime Rib Special and earn 5,000 points for each referral.”

Each suggestion is sent to the marketer via SMS, and can be approved and instantaneously pushed to their customers’ smartphones in under a minute. Response data from each campaign then feeds back to the system to improve future performance. Prices start at $99 (£65) per month.

“Warbler’s prescriptive technology puts the power of real time, data-enabled marketing into the hands of small businesses who often lack the time or know-how to run sophisticated mobile campaigns,” said Justin Jarvinen, Warbler’s chief innovation officer. “The results will be major productivity and financial gains for busy business owners, and because it’s completely automated, any marketer, experienced or not, can effortlessly run agency-quality, results-oriented mobile marketing in less than a minute a day. We’ve taken marketing automation and made it fully automated marketing.”

A rewards program forms a major part of the Warbler platform, allowing businesses to incentivize app downloads, customer engagement and purchase with experiential rewards. The cost of redeemed loyalty points is covered entirely by Warbler, which the company says lets marketers reward their customers for actions that create value for their business, but without the redemption risk they would usually face.

Subscribers also have access to the rest of Warbler’s integrated suite of tools, including native mobile app design and publishing, mobile payments, beacon management, third party plug-ins, campaign analytics, geo-fencing and more.

As part of the launch, Warbler is giving away a total of 1bn loyalty points to the first 10,000 marketers who pre-register. There’s more information here.
