Warehouse Turns to Brightcove for Video-based App

UK women’s fashion retailer Warehouse has launched a host of online video initiatives, including an iPhone video app, using an online video platform from Brightcove. Warehouse is leveraging the Brightcove platform to support its Style Studio TV fashion portal at Warehouse.co.uk.

“There is no better way to showcase Warehouse’s collections coming to life and to tell our story than through video,” says Danielle Brown, head of marketing at Warehouse. “The Brightcove platform has enabled us to deliver the highest quality user experience possible for our branded video content across both the PC web, and mobile devices like the iPhone.”

With the Brightcove platform, Warehouse has introduced ‘shoppable’ video functionality, where items featured in videos are available to buy within the same screen. The iPhone app was produced using the Brightcove iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK). The app includes new video content from Style Studio TV and a multitude of styling tips.
