The SEA, which describes itself as a service innovation company of designers, marketeers and technologists who create unique and useful services for our converged society has announced a pre-launch call for investors for its WeGlu service, which it describes as the future of mobile communications and social networking services. The company says it expects partners to come from the media, telco and Internet sectors.
WeGlu starts with your mobile phones address book. At present, the company says, all you know is your friends name and phone number. With WeGlu, they can let you know what theyre doing, where they are, what theyd love to do later and how theyre feeling. You can then contact them by calling, texting or sending multimedia messages directly from WeGlu to their phone or the web.
WeGlu helps you to create plans and memories using photos, sounds and videos on the web or on your mobile and then share them automatically with all your friends, or just a select few. WeGlu also provides a mobile marketing and advertising platform for groups and businesses. All forms of digital media can be sent directly to mobile phones and personal web spaces based on WeGlu users profiles and preferences.
WeGlu is currently in private alpha. You can sign up to receive more information here.
