Mobile Interactive Group (MIG), has promoted Rob Weisz to the position of Director of Wholesale Billing Products and Services, where he will be responsible for the strategic commercial development and success of Mobile Billing products, including premium and non-premium SMS, MMS, WAP Billing (Payforit) Video and Voice shortcode services.
Weisz, joined MIG in March 2005 as Commercial Partnerships Manager. In the past two years, he has built a significant business where his sole purpose was to build, service and manage relationships throughout MIGs Wholesale business.
MIG has built one a robust, reliable and high-speed European mobile application platform, and now also offers access to the Irish, and US markets. Moving into 2007, MIG says it will continue to invest heavily in this area with new products being launched, including a new, high-speed, interactive platform called MIDAS Mobile Interactive Delivery Application Solution.
Rob is an outstanding asset to the MIG business and has built a strong reputation for first class customer service and delivery says MIG MD, Barry Houlihan. He has signed some very impressive contracts and a number of new partnerships are in the pipeline. This promotion reflects his ability to manage a major P&L in the MIG business. We have already expanded the sales and technical account management teams and plans are in place to continually grow our business again this year.
