Westfield London launches Army of the Dead VR experience

Westfield shopping centres owner URW has launched an Immersive virtual reality experience at Westfield London to promote the Netflix movie Army of the Dead, which was released in May.

Set several years before the events of the movie, the experience takes fans through an action-packed battle against hordes of undead threats on the overrun Las Vegas Strip. It was produced by Netflix in creative collaboration with Pure Imagination Studios and in partnership with Fever, and is open from now until December at Westfield London. Up to six players team up on a rescue mission to save survivors trapped in zombie-infested Las Vegas as part of the Las Vengeance rescue mission crew, with tickets starting from £18 with a variety of packages available.

“With over 22m visitors through our centres since reopening in April, we know that consumers are craving physical experiences,” said Grace Charge, Head of Brand Experience for UK and Europe at URW. “Viva Las Vengeance: Army of the Dead is a completely unique entertainment offering for visitors to come together with family and friends and we have no doubt it will be hugely popular over the coming months.”

The experience is designed with due consideration for COVID-19 compliance and safety standards to ensure the best possible experience for guests.  There’s more information here
