William Hill has launched its new iPad app for sports fans to quickly bet on 1,001 football leagues in 97 countries worldwide. The app guarantees the best odds on all UK and Irish Horse Racing, as well as fast access to accumulators and ‘hot picks’, where users can view which runners other users are backing.

There are a number of exclusive rewards for its iPad users, including free bet refunds on certain football match outcomes and increased winnings on horse raising results.

William Hill’s iPhone app has seen more than half a million downloads since it was launched in February 2012. App betting now accounts for around 30 per cent of all William Hill’s online activity, with 2,500 bets per minute made via William Hill mobile leading up to this year’s Grand National.

“Mobile betting is booming, with more customers using our service as a second screen solution to watch sport at home or on the move,” said Juergen Reutter, director of mobile at William Hill. “We anticipate the service becoming even more popular over the festive period and are sure the simple, easy and convenient functionality of the app will become a favourite way for many of our customers to bet.”
