Yahoos Triple Mobile Whammy

Yahoo! has announced the launch of Yahoo! onePlace, a revolutionary mobile content management solution. The company has also announced the upcoming availability of Yahoo! Go 3.0 for a number of European countries, as well as several new European-based widgets that will be accessible across Yahoo!s mobile browser and client-based offerings.
In launching Yahoo! Go 3.0, Yahoo! modestly claims credit for reinventing mobile search and mobile communications. It says that Yahoo! onePlace is designed to be an essential tool to enable consumers to better manage the wide selection of content available across the Internet.
With the introduction of Yahoo! onePlace, we are announcing the next essential component to our mobile product line up, says Marco Boerries, Executive Vice President, Connected Life at  Yahoo! Yahoo! onePlace is where users will be able to find what matters to them the most, no matter where their interests, passions and information come from. Yahoo! onePlace will provide mobile users with a rich and dynamic content experience.
Yahoo! says that Yahoo! onePlace will put everything in which a consumer is interested into a single location and then serve it up in the most personally-relevant manner. An innovative intelligence-driven system will organize anything put into it according to a users unique interests and passions, and present only the information they want, the way they want it. So now, the content they consume and the way they consume it will be “hyper-customized” to their own specific preferences and tastes.
It will be simple to use, the company says, as it will be based on a familiar process of using bookmarks to instantly link to practically any piece of content, including news feeds, websites, videos, images, emails and search queries, from anywhere across the Internet. Once in Yahoo! onePlace, everything will be kept automatically updated, and assigned with categories and tags, or placed into customized collections that consumers create making it extremely intuitive for consumers to find and combine their content in the ways most useful to them.
Yahoo! says that Yahoo! onePlace is expected to launch, along with Yahoo! oneConnect, in Q2 2008. It also says the solution is expected to become available across hundreds of devices and mobile browsers around the world.
Launched in January 2008, Yahoo!s flagship mobile application, Yahoo! Go 3.0, is currently available to consumers in the US, and supported on more than 50 devices. Once agains, Yahoo! says that Yahoo! Go 3.0 is expected to be available in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK at the end of Q2 2008, and also expected to be available on hundreds of devices worldwide.
