Yasmo Live, a social networking service aimed at the conference industry, has announced that it is to provide mobile social networking for Informa ICBI over the next 12 months.
Yasmo has entered into an agreement with the specialist conference organiser to provide mobile social networking for its global investment events.
The first event to benefit from Yasmo Lives conference technology is SuperInvestor 2011, which brings together more than 800 global investors in Paris. It started yesterday, and runs until 18 November.
The Yasmo service offers a real-time, intuitive mobile social network that operates before, during and after the conference. Participants get networking opportunities and a social circle based on the events attendees. Yasmo Live allows attendees to break the ice onsite with its patented People Around feature, through which everyone at the conference can add contacts, arrange meetings, exchange views, participate in live opinion polls and ask questions to the speakers or to the room.
ICBI can also make announcements to delegates and offer advertising space to its sponsors through Yasmos mobile notification functionality.
Julian Kirby, Managing Director at ICBI, says: “We chose Yasmo Live because its networking app is highly intuitive and customisable. The app is unique due to its seamless synchronisation between online and mobile networking platforms, which facilitates connections among delegates onsite or in other environments. The apps many other features, such as live polls and video streaming, also give us an edge in todays highly competitive conference market.”
Areti Kampyli, CEO of Yasmo Live, says: “We are delighted to have been chosen by ICBI, one of the worlds largest event producers. We look forward to working with them around the world to provide our full suite of networking services, including attendee interaction analytics and integration with major social networks such as Twitter and LinkedIn.”
