Interactive entertainment company Yomego has appointed Dan Campbell, formerly Head of MTV Flux, as Senior Planner. Yomego enables broadcasters, brand and media owners and their agencies to build communities through virtual worlds, social media, UGC and digital personalisation. The companys white-label entertainment platform, launched in 2007, seamlessly delivers interactive services to mobile, web and TV channels.
In his new role, Campbell will be responsible for developing new products and services. Prior to joining Yomego, Campbell worked at digital agency Wheel, and at Flextech, which has since become Virgin Media. For the past seven years, he has worked with MTV Networks UK in Ireland.
Campbells appointment is part of a move by Yomego to build the companys presence within the media and entertainment market. Yomego currently works with a number of media and production companies, including MTV, GMTV, CSC Media and Viacom, and says it is looking to expand that business further through the deployment of virtual worlds, social networks, user-generated content and avatars.
