YPlan has brought its London listings app to iPad.
The app serves up curated same-day listings of events taking place in London, and enables users to directly buy tickets for them. The iPhone version has been downloaded over 250,000 times since it launched in November last year – particularly impressive given . An Android version is set to follow in the coming months.
“We’ve already got a strong core of iPhone users, so building an iPad version was the obvious next step,” said YPlan co-founder and CTO Viktoras Jucikas. “The UK tablet market is growing incredibly quickly, so it’s exciting to know we can now bring a truly spontaneous night out to a much wider community.” 
YPlan recently secured $12m of Series A funding, as it prepares to take the app to New York this autumn.
