Augmented Reality (AR) firm Zappar has teamed up with Asda for an Easter Adventure Hunt in almost 400 Asda stores across the UK from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 12 April.
Shoppers in the stores will be challenged to find three Easter friends; Chick, Lamb and Pink Bunny.

Floor stickers will be hidden around the stores for children and their parents to discover. When zapped using the Zappar app, each one will transform to reveal a hidden world underneath the store, with one of the Easter Bunny’s friends hiding inside. Once all the friends have been found the successful adventurers can collect a free gift, and pose with the AR Easter Bunny to take photos and video to share with friends.

Shopper will also be able to take home a face mask from stores that when zapped, replaces the wearer’s head with that of the Easter Bunny. Shoppers will need the Zappar app on their mobile device to play the game, though for those that don’t have it or don’t want to download it, Asda store staff will be on hand with Zappar-equipped iPads.
