Zeemote has revealed that its JS1 Bluetooth Mobile Gaming Controller is now compatible with all BlackBerry Smartphones with a trackball. The JS1 features four action buttons and a thumbstick. It weighs in at 57 grams and provides over 50 hours of continuous game play on two AAA batteries. It also features the Zeekey Software Application, creating instant compatibility with all mobile games made for BlackBerrys. To use the Zeemote JS1 Controller with a BlackBerry Smartphone, a user simply needs to download the Zeekey App from the Zeemote Zeekey website.
The Zeemote JS1 also enables a user to control phone menu navigation and offers compatibility with nearly all apps on a BlackBerry and those available on BlackBerry App World. For example, the Zeemote JS1 can be used as a remote control for the media player giving users an easy way to control their music and videos.
The JS1 is compatible with the BlackBerry Bold, Tour, Curve series, Pearl series and the BlackBerry 8800 series phones. Theres a complete list of supported BlackBerry phones here. It is available online through ShopBlackBerry.com in North America, Europe and Asia in the official Zeemote JS1 BlackBerry Retail Pack. The Zeemote retail pack is compatible with all games for BlackBerry utilizing the Zeekey Controller App, and also includes one free game from Gameloft. Users can select from titles such as Block Breaker 2 Deluxe, Asphalt 4, Terminator Salvation, Wimbledon 2000, and Pro Golf World Tour 2010. The JS1 will also be available via an official BlackBerry Smartphone bundle from select retailers or mobile operators in the autumn.
