Zmags has launched its digital catalogue software in the UK. Zmags enables retailers to create online interactive magazine-style catalogues across web, Tablet, mobile and social media channels, which can incorporate video, social media integration and, of course, eCommerce functionality.
“UK high street footfall has declined by 6.4 per cent over the first few months of the year, a clear sign that British retailers need to have an innovative and progressive online strategy to replace traditional shop sales,” says Geoff Wright, Zmags vice president of sales and marketing EMEA. “Touchscreens and Tablet devices have changed the way we shop online – shopping is now natural and seductive instead of clunks and clicks. Zmags has replicated this experience across all devices and platforms, making online shopping a touchy-feely experience – just like real life. We call this new kind of shopping discovery commerce, and it’s giving the retailer dramatic return, both in engagement and order value.”
That dramatic return for retailers, the company says, has included 500 per cent increase in page views for its users, along with a 55 per cent increase in average order values and doubling of conversion rates.
