Thematic broadcaster Zonemedia has enhanced its digital media offering with the launch of WAP sites for its Extreme Sports Channel and Zone Reality channel. The new sites build on the success of the companys Zone Horror WAP site, launched last year.
The Extreme Sports Channel site will offer an array of action-packed clips from popular shows Kelly Slater Invitational, Streetball: Extreme Battle for Europe, Drop In New Zealand, Road Fools and Genex.
The Zone Reality WAP offering includes lads mag favourites Ballz Girls; Redneck Games, and the slapstick stupidity of Totally Out of Control and Moronic 21st Century Idiots. In addition, wallpapers and screensavers will be available from each site.
The new WAP sites are a natural extension of the channels, says Tanya Gugenheim, Chief Business Development and New Media Officer at Zonemedia. High-octane dare-devilry is ideally suited to short-burst mobile viewing.
