Mobile app company Appcelerator has expanded its management team and opened EMEA headquarters in London to support the company’s growth. 

Doug Norton-Bilsby has been named vice president and general manager of EMEA. In this position, Norton-Bilsby will lead Appcelerator’s sales and operations in the EMEA region, beginning with rapidly building a core team for sales and engineering in the region.

Meanwhile, Carl Orthlieb brings 25 years of experience with mobile, desktop, enterprise and SaaS solutions to his role as vice president of engineering. Orthlieb will be responsible for leading the development of Appcelerator’s integrated mobile platform products.

Jo Ann Buckner is joining Appcelerator as vice president of product management, where she will oversee the company’s product strategy, roadmap and business model. Jo spent 12 years at Adobe, where she was responsible for business model innovation on the $2bn Creative Suite business.
