Advanced Health & Care has launched its Advanced Community system, which uses purpose-built mobile applications and mobile workforce management solutions. The system enables recording and reporting of patient information on the go, as well enabling care workers to deliver assessments and care plans, manage treatment and ‘clock in and out’ of appointments.
“Advanced Community is sophisticated, flexible and unique in its approach to integrated community healthcare,” says Jim Chase, MD of Advanced Health & Care. “As over 70 per cent of community staff work away from their offices, the system has been designed from the ground up to facilitate mobile working, thereby helping solve the community healthcare sector’s primary day-to-day operational issue – managing a mobile and distributed workforce.”
The system brings together Advanceds apps, including iNurse and iConnect, available for Windows Mobile and BlackBerry devices. The company says compability with other smartphone and Tablet devices will follow shortly.
